A sport, or mutation, of “Nuccio’s Bella Rossa,” the cultivar “Nuccio’s Bella Rossa Crinkled” has the same red, double flowers as its parent plant, but the petals are wavy. Its foliage also is irregular and crinkled. The leaves are green in the center with yellowish-green margins. “Nuccio’s Bella Rossa Crinkled” grows more slowly than “Nuccio’s Bella Rossa” with a more compact form suited to smaller gardens.
